Microsoft expande o suporte para aplicativos Android no Windows 11

A Microsoft anunciou que o Amazon App Store agora está aberto a todos os desenvolvedores Android que desejam trazer seus aplicativos para o Windows.

Qualquer desenvolvedor que queira distribuir aplicativos para dispositivos Windows 11 precisará submetê-los para teste.

Este é um grande passo para o WSA – Windows Subsystem for Android – já que alcançou um ponto em que pode funcionar de maneira estável para os desenvolvedores.

Para facilitar a transição, a Microsoft disponibilizou material para desenvolvedores, incluindo guias sobre como tornar os aplicativos compatíveis com o WSA e tutoriais em vídeo.

Como os aplicativos Android no Windows 11 assumem um formato diferente, a Microsoft também enfatizou o redimensionamento adequado da janela e o mapeamento nativo.

A nova fase do Amazon App Store provavelmente significará que mais aplicativos chegarão ao mercado. As estatísticas atuais indicam que a loja oferece acesso a mais de 50.000 aplicativos com disponibilidade em 31 países.

Com a limitação dos desenvolvedores removida, espera-se que ainda mais aplicativos sejam desenvolvidos para o Windows 11.
